The history of the hanging poster
Who doesn’t remember them? hanging posters bring back childhood memories for many people. In classrooms, they were the ideal way to teach students new things.
Large posters filled with beautiful illustrations helped students understand and remember lessons better. Since the 19th century, hanging posters have been widely used in education, also known as “visual learning.”
From geography maps to biology charts and history posters—these visuals were essential in many classrooms.
Nowadays, digital tools have largely replaced them, and hanging posters are mainly used as decoration. Luckily, at Hellodeco we’ve given this classic wall decoration a new purpose!
A hanging poster is the perfect way to display your favorite photo
The traditional hanging posters are now available as unique wall decoration on our website. The best part? You decide which image is printed.
Our hanging posters are made from textile, which is why they are also called textile posters. This material is much stronger than paper and has several advantages: it’s durable, easy to clean, and simple to move without damage.
The poster is hung using a cord, so you don’t have to worry about tearing or creasing.
Thanks to its vintage look, this type of wall decoration brings a nostalgic feel to any room. At the same time, it’s designed to stand out—making your photo the focal point of your space.
Create your own personalized hanging poster
A hanging poster can be used in any room, thanks to the many customization options.
Start by choosing your image. This could be a vacation photo, a family memory, or even a photo collage. That way, you don’t have to choose just one picture.
You can also add text, such as a quote, names, or a special date. For example, combine a wedding photo with the wedding date for a truly meaningful design.
You also choose the size of your poster, ranging from 30 x 20 cm up to 120 x 180 cm. Whether you want a small decorative piece or a large statement item, we’ve got you covered.
You can even select the color of the wooden rails. Choose between black or natural wood to match your interior style.
With all these options, you can create a truly unique and personal wall decoration.
