For more thorough cleaning, use our microfiber cleaning cloths, which are available as an optional extra when purchasing an induction hob protector. Make sure the protector is completely dry before placing it back on the cooktop or rolling it up for storage.
You shouldn’t cook with the induction protector on the hob. Although the material is heat-resistant, it can be damaged by the high temperatures of a hob that is switched on. It does make a handy splash guard while you cook, though: simply place it upright behind the hob to protect your wall from grease and splashes. When you’re done cooking, lay it back on the hob as a stylish cover.
