Felt
PET felt is a versatile, durable material with excellent acoustic properties. It is made from partially recycled polyester fibers, which gives it a soft feel and retains its shape. Because it is fully recyclable, PET felt is a particularly environmentally friendly choice. These properties make it ideal for creating stylish, sound-absorbing products for a variety of applications.
Our PET felt consists of 60% recycled fibers, and is completely recyclable.
NRC stands for Noise reduction coefficient: a value of 0.45 means that 45 % of the incident sound is absorbed.
To determine how many panels you need, look at how much of the free wall area you need to cover. To do this, keep the following:
- Some reverberation attenuation (e.g. living room or small meeting room): clad about 10-15% of the free wall area.
- Good speech intelligibility (standard office or classroom): 15-25 % of the free wall area
- Very reverberant room or many hard materials (restaurant, high hall): target 25-30 % of the free wall area.
Free wall area = all wall areas without windows, doors, cabinets or other wall decoration.
Clean panel with dry cloth, or vacuum on low power; for stains, dab water first, do not rub. Stubborn: test mild soap or pH-neutral cleaner on inconspicuous area.

About the image
A detailed illustration in shades of blue of a rustic estate on a hill. The stone building is surrounded by cypress trees, olive trees and rolling fields. A dirt path leads to the central arched entrance. The style is reminiscent of classic pottery decor, executed with fine shading on a light background.
